Shilpa Raina, Chief Compliance Officer of Digital Assets at WisdomTree, announced as a panelist at the Fintech Risk & Compliance Forum

Shilpa Raina, Chief Compliance Officer, Digital Assets at WisdomTree, will take the stage as a panelist at the 2026 Fintech Risk & Compliance Forum (FRC).

She will contribute to the session “Staying Ahead of the Curve: Future-Proofing Compliance Amid Constant Change,” a discussion focused on how organizations are rethinking compliance in response to rapid regulatory shifts, emerging risks, and continued innovation across fintech.

Shilpa’s career reflects a blend of traditional financial services expertise and hands-on leadership in digital assets. At WisdomTree, she is responsible for guiding compliance strategy within the firm’s Digital Assets channel, helping ensure that innovation moves forward within a strong regulatory framework.

Before joining WisdomTree, she held a senior leadership role at Anchorage Digital, where she managed compliance across multiple business lines including brokerage, international operations, and self-custody. Her work there required navigating complex and evolving regulatory expectations tied to digital asset infrastructure.

Her earlier experience includes time at Morgan Stanley within the Global Financial Crimes division, where she advised on compliance across banking and wealth management and supported the integration of ETRADE. She also built foundational expertise at ETRADE through roles in anti-money laundering, transaction monitoring, and internal audit.

With more than 18 years in the industry, Shilpa brings a perspective shaped by both regulatory rigor and operational execution. She holds a degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University, where she graduated magna cum laude, and maintains CIA and CAMS certifications. She is also a frequent contributor to industry dialogue, including speaking engagements with ACAMS on crypto and regulatory developments.

At FRC, her insights will help frame a broader conversation around what it takes to build compliance programs that are not only effective today, but resilient enough to adapt as the landscape continues to evolve. Attendees can expect a practical discussion on aligning compliance with innovation while maintaining strong oversight.

The Fintech Risk & Compliance Forum is excited to welcome Shilpa to this year’s speaker lineup. The event will take place May 18 to 20, 2026, in Oak Brook, Illinois, bringing together leaders across fintech, compliance, and risk for focused, peer-driven conversations.
