Anand Chawla, Vice President at Goldman Sachs, will join the 2026 Fintech Risk & Compliance Forum (FRC) as a moderator.
He will lead the panel discussion “Staying Ahead of the Curve – Future-Proofing Compliance Amid Constant Change,” a session focused on how fintech and financial services leaders are adapting compliance strategies to stay ahead of shifting regulations, emerging risks, and ongoing technological disruption.
The discussion will explore how organizations are building agile, future-ready compliance programs that can scale alongside innovation while maintaining operational resilience and regulatory alignment.
Executives participating in the session will examine practical approaches for improving regulatory foresight, strengthening collaboration across internal teams, and supporting sustainable compliance in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.
Anand leads technology-driven compliance solutions across Financial Crime, KYC, and Transaction Monitoring at Goldman Sachs. With more than 15 years of experience spanning organizations including PwC, Accenture, and Matrix, he is recognized for solving complex systems and data challenges for financial institutions.
Throughout his career, Anand has focused on leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency across compliance and risk functions. Most recently, he ideated an AML surveillance sandbox in Snowflake Cloud designed to support more scalable and effective compliance operations.
His experience across consulting, financial services, and enterprise technology gives him a unique perspective on how organizations can modernize compliance infrastructure while responding to evolving regulatory expectations.
Anand holds an MBA in Finance and Statistics from Baruch College as well as a Masters in Computer Applications from the Manipal Institute of Technology.
At FRC, his perspective will help drive important conversations around compliance modernization, operational scalability, regulatory preparedness, and the role technology plays in shaping the future of financial crime and compliance programs.
